This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, arrange release, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the responsible public office directly for those services.
Jail and sheriff records
For current county custody, a booking record, or a request for an existing jail record, begin with the verified county agency contact. The county research did not identify a dedicated booking-photo request form, so a written Texas Public Information Act request should be directed to the current records custodian or public-information officer.

Ask for an existing record, name the person, give an approximate booking or arrest date, name the arresting agency if known, and request electronic delivery plus a cost estimate. Verify the current delivery route before mailing because the county identifies an Open Records Request Clerk under the County Attorney’s office.
Court records and warrant questions
The court record, rather than a booking entry, is the source for a disposition or active case status. The District Clerk is the county contact documented for felony criminal filings and criminal-clerk functions. The County Court at Law handles criminal misdemeanors, and the appropriate clerk depends on the case.

Where to begin a lookup
Each source covers a different custody or record stage.
- Use the county record lookup for the current roster, 24-hour view, date-range view, and a county records-request model.
- Use the Wanted Fugitives page for the verified warrant-check and court-contact paths.
- For a person sentenced to state custody, use the TDCJ inmate search.
- For federal custody, use the BOP inmate locator; for immigration custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator.
